Board of Directors

Janell Paviolitis - President

Champion quartet name and year:
1983, Melo-Edge.  Won in Detroit

Chorus and regional affiliations:
CAL Regions 9 and 15

Purpose on the Board of Directors:
My position is to oversee the rest of the Coronet Club Board of Directors, and to see that all Coronet Club functions are carried out properly and in a timely manner.  The President also works closely with the International Board regarding all Coronet Club endeavors.

Vision for the Coronet Club:
My vision for the Coronet Club is for it to continue to be the ultimate goal for all those quartetting , young and old.  I would like to see crowns (lots of them) sitting in the audience, so that the competitors can look down and see us cheering them on. I would also like to see more of our newer Queens volunteering to help with the yearly CC tasks that so few of the members do year after year.  I would like to see a time when on Friday night of convention that the only show in town is the Coronet Club show and it is packed with an audience eager to see the Queens strut their stuff.  I would like to see very well attended Queens' Colleges in 2012.  This may be a very big vision, but look at the talent that we are working with!

More about Janell:
Grandmother to six and one more on the way.  "I have the best husband in the world who is not a barbershopper but knows that singing is a very important part of my life and encourages me in every way possible to continue with all of my Sweet Adeline endeavors".

Amy Brinkman - Treasurer

Champion quartet name and year:
Tenor, Chicago Fire – 1995 Champions

Chorus and regional affiliations:
Choral-Aires Chorus, Region 3

Purpose on the Board of Directors:
Treasurer

Vision for the Coronet Club:
"I see the Coronet Club (and our annual show) as a history of our barbershop hobby. We are a group of women who worked with our quartet(s) towards a goal and now get the chance to be part of a chorus of women who share the joy of a cappella singing each year at our convention. Every year, I am so proud to call myself a member of this group…and trust me, our shows shouldn’t be missed! "

Tomi McEvoy - Immediate Past President

Champion quartet name and year:
baritone, a cappella Gold, 2001 Champions

Chorus and regional affiliation:
San Diego Chorus, Region 21

Purpose on the Board of Directors:
Immediate Past President

Vision for the Coronet Club:
The Coronet Club represents the crown of success for quartet singers in our organization. As leaders and role models, we inspire and educate through our quartets, our Queens’ Colleges and our annual show. Our willingness to give back to other singers helps raise the musicality and vocal skills of the entire organization.
